Sparky Wiki

Sparky is based on Debian GNU/Linux so it gives you access to the one of the biggest Linux repositories. As an addition, Sparky provides it's own repositories, which offers you some own tools, desktops and other packages for different tasks.

Most desktops can be installed straight from the Debian repositories.

A few home roasted 3rd party desktops: (bspwm, Budgie, CDE, Deepin, Enlightenment, Lumina) can be installed from Sparky repositories.

Another few 3rd party desktops: Pantheon, Trinity can be installed via Sparky tools only, using 3rd party repositories.

Sparky provides tools which lets you quick and easy install desktops such as: awesome, bspwm, Budgie, Cinnamon, Deepin, Enlightenment, Fluxbox, GNOME Flashback, GNOME Shell, i3, IceWM, JWM, KDE Plasma 5, Lumina, LXDE, LXQt, MATE, Openbox, Pantheon, PekWM, Trinity, Window Maker, Xfce.

They are available via Sparky MinimalGUI/CLI iso images (fresh install) or Sparky APTus → Desktop tab, alongside of an existing desktop.
