Sparky of the testing ((semi-)rolling) line is based on and uses Debian “testing” packages.
Users of Debian “testing” branch should add Sparky sisters (testing) and core repositories to get access to Sparky repos:
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sparky.list
and paste into the file:
deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/sparky-repo.asc] https://repo.sparkylinux.org/ sisters main deb-src [signed-by=/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/sparky-repo.asc] https://repo.sparkylinux.org/ sisters main deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/sparky-repo.asc] https://repo.sparkylinux.org/ core main deb-src [signed-by=/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/sparky-repo.asc] https://repo.sparkylinux.org/ core main
Create a preference file:
sudo nano /etc/apt/preferences.d/sparky
and paste into the file:
Package: * Pin: release o=SparkyLinux Pin-Priority: 1001
Download the Sparky's Public Key:
wget -O - https://sourceforge.net/projects/sparkylinux/files/repo/sparky-repo.asc | sudo tee /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/sparky-repo.asc
