===== Sparky Desktops =====

Sparky is based on Debian GNU/Linux so you have access to the one of the biggest Linux Repositories. In addition, Sparky provides it's own [[repository|Repositories]], which offers our own tools, Desktops and other packages for different tasks.

Most desktops can be installed straight from the **Debian Repositories**.

A few [[home_roasted_third_party_desktops|home roasted 3rd party Desktops]]: ([[[cde|CDE]], [[enlightenment|Enlightenment]], [[jade_desktop|Jade]], [[lumina_desktop|Lumina]], [[manokwari_desktop|Manokwari]]) can be installed from **Sparky Repositories**.

Other [[desktops_from_third_party_repositories|3rd party Desktops]]: [[pantheon_desktop|Pantheon]], [[trinity_desktop|Trinity]] can be installed via Sparky tools only, using **3rd party Repositories**.

Sparky provides tools which lets you quickly and easily install various desktops such as: awesome, bspwm, Budgie, Cinnamon,  Enlightenment, Fluxbox, GNOME Flashback, GNOME Shell, i3, IceWM, jade, JWM, KDE Plasma 5, Lumina, LXDE, LXQt, MATE, Openbox, Pantheon, PekWM, Trinity, Window Maker, Xfce.

They are available via [[minimal|Sparky MinimalGUI/CLI]] ISO images using the [[advanced_installer|Advanced Installer]]; or [[aptus|Sparky APTus]] -> **Desktop section**; or installed in addition to an existing desktop.
