===== How to install MS Office alternative Kingsoft (WPS) Office (Latest Version) =====

==== Via Sparky APTus ====

Open Menu-> Sparky APTus tool.

Navigate to Office tab-> Install WPS Office.

Follow the instruction.

==== Manual method ====

Update - latest version available here: wps-community.org/download.html

//File name and directory may vary.//
  
  sudo dpkg -i ~/Downloads/wps-office_10.1.0.5672~a21_amd64.deb


extract [1] into the ~/.fonts folder. If the directory doesn't exist, simply create it. 

==== System Wide Instructions ==== 

  sudo pcmanfm

or equivalent root enabled file manager.

from pcmanfm open [1] extract to 

/usr/share/fonts/truetype    

Install the deb font file as well.[2]

//File location may vary.//

  sudo dpkg -i ~/Downloads/web-office-fonts.deb

You could also softlink the fonts to

  /usr/share/fonts/truetype

**Don't forget** to update your font cache!

  sudo fc-cache -fv
